"Bringing Art and Agriculture Together" has been the ongoing theme for the Annual Fields Project, now celebrating its 13th year in 2011.

From June 18-26, three artists will create giant "crop circles" in a field. The earth sculptures are created by mapping out a grid and using a GPS system along with a large farm tractor to create the design which will then be visible from planes flying overhead. Plane rides are conducted June 25-26 in Oregon, Illinois.
